發跡香港，即將邁入成團十年，目前由吉他自然、城峰、貝斯阿凌與鼓手坤城四人為主展開音樂活動，樂風以數學搖滾和後搖滾，混雜香港獨有風情創造嶄新風格，柔情洗鍊。

活躍於中日港台等亞洲地區，曾參演多個地區的大型音樂節如 Focus Wales (UK)、文雀匯後搖音樂節 (CN)、不止音樂節 (CN)、Wake Up Festival (TW)、巨獸搖滾 (TW)、wow and flutter (HK) 和 Clockenflap (HK)。

2015年推出首張迷你專輯《實心透明》於港台兩地開始備受歡迎， 2018年發行專輯《化學》將器樂的感理性思維融合地完整動人，隔年推出概念專輯《郵資不足》後，其中收錄曲〈返信〉 和日本冷暴力女聲Rapper春ねむり跨國合作，日後展開亞洲發片巡演行經日本、台灣、香港 ，與台灣純愛器樂搖滾樂團體熊專科、日本前衛數搖新星Agatha共演，演出獲受好評。2020年推出單曲 〈初〉、〈75%〉以及與台灣金曲獎客語女歌手黃宇寒跨域合作單曲〈位所〉。2023 年盛夏，無預告驚喜發行十週年結成紀念專輯《分水嶺 The Parting》，展開了8國的亞洲巡迴。

時經團員變更、人生無常與動盪，話梅鹿仍舊努力與重新定位自我，創造器樂專屬港式的柔情似水，成為新一代香港代表樂團之一。

Formed in 2013, music style altered to Instrumental Rock after the drop out of vocalist. Consisting of Nature (guitarist), S.F. Tang (guitarist), Jimmy Ling (bassist) and Kwan Shing (drummer).

With the release of albums ‘Solid Transparency’ (2015), ‘Chemistry’ (2018), ‘Insufficient Postage’ (2019), and ‘The Parting’ (2023). Prune Deer has gained increasing popularity through performances in Asian districts including Hong Kong, China, Japan and Taiwan. Also making a constant presence in various music festivals such as Focus Wales (UK), FRIENDSHIP. ONLINE (JP), Post Rock Festival (CN), More Than Music Festival (CN), Wake Up Festival (TW), BeastieRock (TW), Clockenflap(HK), wow and flutter(HK) and Corona Sunset Festival(HK).
